A sensory experience
Flutter-By and Flutter-Bop are interactive theatre performances that invite young children into an imaginary woodland world, brought to life through sound, movement, imagery, and touch.
In these sensory adventures, participants will watch, listen, move, play and act out the story using props made from upcycled and natural materials.
We are thrilled to host The SketchCan Caravan at the Magical Cafe, as they bring their enchanting show to Switzerland for the very first time.
Flutter-By
Flutter-By is a gentle sensory experience for babies and their grown-ups.
This performance is aimed at babies who are not yet walking, but toddlers are weclome too.
Tickets start at 15 CHF.

Flutter-Bop
Flutter-Bop is an active, playful exploration for toddlers and pre-school children.
This performance is suitable for toddlers & pre-schoolers up to 4 years (babies not yet walking are welcome to join older siblings).
Tickets start at 15 CHF.

The SketchCan Caravan
The SketchCan Caravan is a family-run arts company founded by Lydia O’Neill, a community artist and early childhood arts teacher. Since 2020, she has collaborated with her husband Martin and daughter Trudy to create and tour playful, sensory performances for young children.
Lydia and Martin bring over 20 years of teaching experience, having worked with children and young people in the UK, Thailand, Switzerland, and Ireland. Trudy studied drama, dance, and psychology, and contributes her expertise in creative support for people with complex needs.
Together, they aim to intrigue, inspire and motivate children and their grown-ups to engage with the arts and explore creative ideas.
